He is survived by: his wife Sara "Sue" Shuford; his children, Ingrid Shuford Kelly, Melissa Ward Coates (Mike Coates) and Timothy "Tim" Ward (Karla Ward); and his siblings, Marilyn Shuford Young, Dena Shuford Hensley, Sharon Shuford, Tommy Shuford and Gary Shuford. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
