We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2021, at the age of 83, Oscar Isaacs of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Deane, Kentucky passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Isaacs Sr. and Lawnie Hall Isaacs; his wife Joan Gaynelle Isaacs; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Isaacs; his great grandchild Grant Isaacs; and his siblings, Lynn Pauline Elkins, Peggy Ann Bates and Zenith H. Isaacs.

He is survived by: his sons, Brad Isaacs (Veronica) of Zirconia and Rex Isaacs of Travelers Rest; his daughter-in-law Kathy Isaacs of Hendersonville; his grandchildren, Jason Isaacs, Sheena Isaacs, Lee Isaacs, Luke Isaacs, Kyle Isaacs, Gracie Thiessen, Jacob Thiessen, William Thiessen, Austin Lipson, McKenna Lipson and Abigale Lipson; his great grandchildren, Tristan Isaacs, Bryson Isaacs, Kylee Isaacs, Shayla Isaacs and Kennedy Foster; his brother Tex Isaacs of Jenkins, KY; and his nieces and nephews, Josh Isaacs, Jason Isaacs Ron Isaacs, Neal Isaacs, Randy Bates, Savannah Isaacs, Paula K. Johnson, Alena Tankie Williams and Tammie Combs.

The family asks that all guests wear a mask and maintain social distance.

“In loving memory of Oscar Isaacs, May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you. He was my first haircut. I have known Oscar for my whole life, He knew my whole family. We loved him and he was a great man. We offer you our deepest sympathy at this time of loss. I will never forget how he loved antique Tractors and watched them on TV. We are all devastated by losing our friends and neighbor. I feel like I have lost a family member. I am praying for your family, God bless you all”
