He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Benson and Grace Dale Benson; his wife Louise Ringer Benson; and his brother Ed Benson. He is survived by: his sisters, Tina Sanders and Verna Netland; his daughters, Sandy Worthen (Bill), Becky Christensen (Greg) and Patti Lowery (David); his grandchildren, Trisha Robinson (John Paul), Holly Borton (Derrick), Russell Worthen (Dean), Andrea Christensen (Zack), Caroline Foster (Will), Jonathan Lowery (Bree) and Allison Lowery; and his great grandchildren, Connor Robinson, Quinton, Lilly, Jacob, Logan Borton, Sierra, Emma, Phoebe and Sadie Worthen.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Nathan's honor to ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) or radio station WFHC 855 Howard Gap Rd. Fletcher, NC.
