She was predeceased by: her parents, Mac Darnell and Louise Darnell; and her siblings, John Darnell, Mary Ann Darnell and Linda McCall.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Benjamin Sam Gibbs; her children, Carrie Freeman and Baron Gibbs (Shelia); her grandchildren, Seth May of Hendersonville, Haley Gash of Hendersonville, Alyssa Scott of Hendersonville, Dominic Gibbs of Hendersonville, Miranda of Hendersonville and Dallas Bradburn of Hendersonville; her brother Jim Darnell (Emily) of Hendersonville; her nephew Quinton; and her niece Deb Brandburn. She is also survived by several cousins and special friends.
