With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mitchell Nelson Redmon of Hendersonville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Mitchell and Juanita Hyder Redmon; and his brother Glenn Gordon Redmon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo McElligott Redmon; his children, Ardith Redmon London and Howard Mitchell Redmon (Crystal); his grandchildren, Evan Gregory Duckett (Victoria), Quinn Mitchell Redmon, Skylar Dean Redmon, Preston Isiah Redmon and Phoebe Noelle Coyle; his great grandchildren, Levi Mitchell Duckett and Ellie Grace Duckett; his sister Roxie Wilson; his nephews, Tony Redmon, Tim Redmon and Eric Haynes; and his niece Wendy Redmon.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792).
