He is survived by: his siblings, Dewey Russell, Paul Russell, Melvin Russell of Albemarle, NC., James Russell (Libbie) and Mattie Stines of Mills River, NC.. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, 26 grand nephews and nieces, and 20 great-grand nephews and nieces.
