She is survived by: her children, Linda Dinh (Huyen), Anne Beckett (Daniel), Debra Scott (Harvey), Guy Hembree, Drew Hembree (Angela) and Scott Hembree (Albert); and her siblings, Virgia Nichols (Jesse), Brenda Guill (Len), Janice Wagal, Wayne Burkett (Julia), Richard Burkett (Jean) and Ray Burkett (Gail). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

“I had just heard of the passing of your mother. I had worked with Allen at Roses and knew your mother through him. I always had the upmost respect for both your father and mother, and always looked forward to seeing them in Wal Mart while shopping. I would always bring up the past with Roses to help refresh his memory. I had never seen someone so dedicated to her husband as Marie. Both her and your father will be greatly missed.”
