He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Penfold and Elizabeth Mae Penfold. He is survived by: his wife Constance Penfold; his children, Erin Ward (John Little) of Hendersonville, Heather Ward Wassermann (Aaron) of Hendersonville, NC and Scott Ward of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Dria, Nick Newchurch, Josh Ward, Taryn Ward, Sullivan Ward and Remington Beddingfield; his great grandchildren, Amelia Newchurch and Stetson Newchurch; his siblings, Bonnie Leach (Paul) of Williamsburg, VA, Bob Penfold (Susan) of Tryon and Lorne William Penfold of Hobe Sound, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Medici, Lauren Crepeau, Susan Leach, Andrew Leach and Will Penfold.
