He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville L. Porter and Mary E. Porter. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his sons, Gregory Porter and Steven Porter of Hendersonville; and his brother Robert Porter (Carol) of Atchison, KS. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews.
