With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel Patrick Carter (Hendersonville, North Carolina), born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on February 7, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Carter and Barbara Carter; and his brother Kevin. He is survived by: his son Joel; his siblings, Laura Mastracci (Mark), Gayle Williams (Kent), George Carter, Karen Blaszyk (John), Denise Ficorelli (Dan), Janet Camilleri (Ray), Greg Carter (Holly), Chris Wechsler (Sonny), Alan Carter, Gary Carter (Michelle) and Colleen Hogan (Jack); his children, Chad (Jessica Boynton), Amy, Eric and Teri Carter; his stepchildren, Shawn Gilson, Erin Gilson, Shannon Hullopeter (Mark) and Meghan Gilson (Brian Colby); and his grandchildren, Shane Carter, Camden Gilson, Kira, Julian Hullopeter, Eli Diaz and Alice Colby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
