As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jerry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cephus and Quinnie Elizabeth Autman Mixon; his wife Rachel Elaine Mixon; and his daughter Kathy Elaine Stepp. He is survived by: his children, Shirley Lynn Freeman, Jerry Randall Mixon and Tony Michael Stepp; and his siblings, Junior Sineath and Mary Elizabeth Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dana Baptist Church (37 Buttercup Fields Ln, Hendersonville, NC 28792). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792).
