He was predeceased by: his son Malik Deshun Smith; his grandparents, James and Margree Smith; and his uncle Stanley Smith. He is survived by: his parents, James Smith and Edith Smith of Hendersonville; his wife Kimberly Smith; his daughters, Isabella Lynn Smith and Serenity Grace Baldwin; his brother Jeffrey Smith of Hendersonville; his parents-in-law, Jessey and Lynn Baldwin; and his grandmother Pauline Bell. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and several friends.
