It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Cecelia Wortman (Hendersonville, North Carolina), who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Page and Floy Page (Kincaid); her husband James A. Wortman, Sr.; and her siblings, Kelly and Muriel.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Macon), Anita (Ted) and Andy (Sara); her grandchildren, Caroline (Daniel), Laura (Steven), Jamie (Matthew), Ben (Yilu), Will (Lisa), Dora, Ella, Janetta, Martha and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Harrison, Haleigh, James and Noel; and her siblings, Juanita and Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jane's memory may be made to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center to support the leukemia research of Dr. Joshua Zeidner, her beloved physician who guided her care.
