Jane Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2021, at the age of 93, Jane Long of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Morristown, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Smith and Dorothy Cook Smith; her sisters, Mary Ann Marburg and Sally Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Smith, Donald Marburg and Gordon Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Long; her children, Susan Raines of Taylors, Marti Soper of Topsfield, Massachusetts, Rick Long of Deltona and David Long of Norman, Oklahoma; and her brother Andy Smith of Verona. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Four Seasons Hospice of Hendersonville, North Carolina or the Congregational Church of Tryon.
