He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Rosalee Banther. He is survived by: his wife Jean Banther; his children, Kelly Morris (Arthur "Chip" Morris) of Hutchinson Island, FL and Jamie Banther (Sharon) of Hendersonville, NC; and his siblings, Sonia Sack of Asheville, NC and Eddie Banther of Saluda, NC.
