He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Johnson and Louise Johnson (Thompson); his wife Virginia Davis Johnson; his brother Harold "Buzz" Johnson; and his pets, Tuffy and Zipper.
He is survived by: his sister Harriet Crawford (Gail Schafer); his nieces and nephews, Christina Goble and Thomas Schafer; his sister-in-law Brenda Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Ross, Tony Johnson Kaleb (Christina), Logan, Judy Rowland, Doc Hyder, Dina Rowland Bardin (Richard) and Dusty Rowland (Andi); and his pet Weezy.
