She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Simmons and Dora Simmons (Wright); her husband Robert Daugherty; and her sister Jo Ann Romitti. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Anderson (Steven) of Greenbay, WV, Robert Daugherty (Diane) of Prescott, WI and Valerie Yingst (Jim) of Hendersonville, NC; her siblings, Edward Simmons (Marla) of New Cumberland, WV and Ella Mae Heilman of Weirton, WV; her grandchildren, Jennifer Souvignier (Chris), Nicholas Anderson (Melissa), Kaitlin Sass (Matt), Kayla Fadden (Glen) and Dustin Yingst (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Alison, Joseph Souvgnier, Brinley Anderson, Judah, Collier Fadden, Sawyer and Walker Yingst.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Colliers United Methodist Church (318 Pennsylvania Ave, Colliers, WV 26035). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
