Darlene Harvie wrote a sympathy message

“Kevin & Eric, Your Dad had a photo of himself in the Army. I think he said he was 21 years old? I can’t remember. Also, he had a photo of himself as a child, with his parents and brother. I took a picture of the photos. Gerry was the sweetest man I ever knew. Again, my sincerest condolences on the loss of your Dad. Please take care. Love, Darlene Harvie”

Darlene Harvie wrote a sympathy message

“Kevin & Eric, I am truly sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was an amazing man, so humble & talented. I went to St. John in the Wilderness Church with him Dec 2015, when they placed a tall granite cross to honor African-Americans who were buried there. Your Dad created the beautiful stone wall that surrounds the area. He was so kind & cared deeply about others. Our birthdays were a week apart! I visited him Oct 2024 at Ivy Brook Cottages. I’ll miss him. Love, Darlene Harvie”
