It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Ledford of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Ledford and Eva Mae King Ledford. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Butterfield Ledford; his son Jonathon Ledford of Saluda, SC; his brother Daniel Ledford of Edneyville; his nephew Ricky Summey; his nieces, Virginia Burrell (Jimmy), Angel Ledford and Faith Ledford; and his great-niece Luna Burrell.
