He is survived by: his wife Kirby Jones Cook; his children, Shawnee Hare of Hendersonville, Derek Hare of Mill Spring and Shannon Hare of Hendersonville; his grandchildren, Kyle Uptain, Luke McMinn, Molly McMinn and Grace St. Piere; and his brothers, Ray Cook (Debbie) of Westminster, SC and Gary Cook (Luann) of Canton, NC.
