It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Ackley of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on November 1, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Paul R. Turosak; her friend Fran; her former husband Robert L. Ackley; her sons, Greg Turosak (Katherine Logan) of Rochester, Minn, Paul Turosak of Richmond, John Turosak (Sarah) of Cuenca, Ecuador and Jim Turosak of Denver; her stepchildren, Esia Ackley of Greensboro, N. C., Stephen Ortiz-Ackley (Ramie) of Woodbridge Conn, Eric Laslow and Ore; her granddaughters, Anna Turosak of Minneapolis, Poet Turosak of San Diego and Piper Turosak of Burlington, Vt.; her stepgrandsons, Ben Schloesser (Katya) and Lee Schloesser (Heidi); and also, Brooks of Gunnison and Logan of Silver Spring. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
