In the sacred silence of farewell, Emily Connell is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Emily Connell's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Hampton Puckett; her parents, Amy Viola Connell and James Arthur Connell; her brother Charles Graham Connell; and her niece Laurie Chappelear.
She is survived by: her son David; and her siblings, Sydney Chappelear of Greenville, SC, James Connell (Lou) of Williamstown, NJ, Martha Grose of Hendersonville, NC. and Linda Laughter of Hendersonville, NC.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Service (1101 Greenville Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28792). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
