It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward C. Greer of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 1, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow W. Greer of Hendersonville and Emily R. of Brooklyn. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Lyana (Joseph Osborn), Edward (Suzie Simmons), Frank (Leeta Garcia) and Darryl (Amanda Perez); his grandchildren, Sarah (Forrest Miller), Josef Osborn, Brennen, Delaney, Kayleigh Greer, Anderson Greer, Mateo, Elena Greer and Liko; his brother Bobby (Judy); and his nieces, Jennifer, Holly and Rebecca.
The family wishes to thank the many caregivers, especially Kerrville VA Medical Center, Hero's Haven, and Amedisys Hospice, who supported him in these last years and weeks, and in lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Ed's memory to St Judes Children's Hospital.
