With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edra King Thompson of Hendersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis A. King and Mae Potts King; and her husband Dexter J. Thompson. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Bayne (Jerry) and Teresa McCrary (Mike) of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, Christy Mills (Kelly), Angela Bayne, April Sykes, Amber Young (Jeremy), Aaron Eli Laughter (Marianne) and Kathy McCrary; her great grandchildren, Dalton, Logan Mills, Haley Mills Evans, Cameron Simms, Emerson Sykes, Pearson, Carrick, Leighton Young and Heidie Laughter; her great great grandchildren, Whitney and Hadden Evans; and her brothers, Jerry King and Benjamin Richard King.
