He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edgar Browning and Lois Vena Bullock Lewis; his former wife Shirley Riggan Browning; his siblings, Shirley Browning Kharns, Howard Browning and Doris Browning Sanders; his son Leonard Cooney; and his granddaughter Mindy Cosaert.
He is survived by: his wife Etha Rae Harris Browning; and his children, Laura Hetterle (Lonnie) of Denver, Colorado, Robin Fosler (Steve) of Como, Colorado, Barbara Lawson (Gary) of Wenatchee, Washington, Jonathan Cooney (Tabitha) of Cleveland, Texas, Carol Cosaert (Carl) of Walla Walla, Washington, Roy Edgar Browning (Kristen) of Spokane, Washington and Timothy Browning (Rebecca) of Hendersonville. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family, foster children.
