It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Douglas Medlin of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andy Medlin and Clercy Elizabeth Hubbard Medlin; and his siblings, George Medlin, Clark Medlin, Charles Medlin, Dale Medlin, Billie K. Queen and Retha Mae Payne.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Jenkins Medlin; his daughter Darby Faron Bowden; his son-in-law Steve; his grandchildren, Kenan, Elliana, Keira and Alessandra; his son Christopher Douglas Medlin; his daughter-in-law Heather; his grandchildren, Isaac and Isabella; his sister Barbara Craig (Oregon); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Medlin (Georgia) and Dorothy Medlin (Robbinsville). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
