It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleo Jean Kocik (Hendersonville, North Carolina), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Chenault and Larlie Chenault (Perry); and her siblings, Mattie Alice Faulkner, Edith Green Stamper, Delbert Jack Chenault and Nancy Jane Stouder.
She is survived by: her husband William Jo Kocik Sr.; her children, Carrie Jean Humble (Rod), Tracey Jill Pardiac (Ken), Hollie Jo Sly (Jeff) and William Jo Kocik Jr. (Colleen); her grandchildren, Erin Ashley Humble, Austin Dee Humble (Jill), Jocelyn Renee Kocik, Kayla Marie Sly, Tyler Francis Stephen Sly, Anastasia Nicole Kocik, Victoria Paige Kocik, William Jo Kocik III, Hayden Scott Kocik and Mitchell Thomas Dean Kocik; her great grandchildren, Emmett William Humble and Wyatt Denzil Humble; and her sister Rita Kay Dodge.
The family is requesting that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her honor to Old Newsboy Goodfellow Fund, an organization that holds a very special place in her heart.
