He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen King (Ray); his parents, Marion King and Cordelia King (Robinson); his daughter Joyce Rodden; and his siblings, Eugene, Roy King, Pauline Harris, Bertha McGraw and Willie Harris.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Seay (Jeff) of Hendersonville; and his grandsons, Wayne Rodden (Alicia), Matthew (Sommer) and Jeremy Buchanan (Bethann). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 S. Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731.
