He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Hall McPherson, Sr. and Marion Blanton McPherson; his significant other Neomia Parker McPherson; his siblings, Edmund Blanton (Lib), Hall McPherson (Catherine) and Mary Hodge (Don); and his brother-in-law Marvin Burley.
He is survived by: his sons, Claude Alex McPherson, Jr. of Asheville, NC and Jack Dean McPherson of Wilmington, NC; his granddaughters, Megan, Morgan and Catherine McPherson; and his sister Sallie Ann McPherson Burley of Wilson, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist on Missions for the Hendersonville/Asheville area for Hurricane Helene Relief.
