She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Johnson and Addie Johnson; and her husband Noah L. Hardin. She is survived by: her children, Angela H. Kendrick (Paul) of Fairview, Patricia Hardin of Hendersonville and Don Hardin of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, David B. Sciupider, Cali Hardin and Janely Valdovinos (Ricky); and her sister Jane Tinsley.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792).
