He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mills and Mary Suttles Mills. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hughey Mills; his children, Mike Parlier (Angela) of Appling, GA, Tom Parlier (Sheila) of Jefferson City, TN, Greg Parlier (Denise) of Asheville and Beverly Parlier Burrows (Jim) of Candler; his grandchildren, Annette Parlier Ecret (Billy), Jeanette Parlier Rice (Roy), Daniel Parlier, Daryl Parlier, Patrick Burrows and Nicholas Burrows; his great grandchild RJ Rice; and his sisters, Helen Mills Houser of Etowah and Margaret Mills Dill (Quentin) of Fletcher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Main Street Baptist Church, 202 Main Street South, Hendersonville, NC 28792.
