We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Anna Cogswell Hughes in Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Anderson, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Aaron Hughes; her parents, Paul Cogswell and Laura Cogswell; her siblings, Evelyn Shekell and Paul Cogswell; and her sister-in-law Joyce Cogswell.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Elliot-Hughes of Mills River, Rachel Gehring (Cory) of Granger, Indiana and Benjamin Hughes of Mishawaka, Indiana; her daughter-in-law Louise Hurley Hughes of Carmel, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Mya, Dylan, Violet Hughes, Camille Tamayo, Sierra Weller and Cory Gehring, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Melody Cook-Gehring and Damon Weller; her brothers, Donald "Charlie" Cogswell and Ken Cogswell (Kathy); and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Cogswell and Frank Shekell (Penny). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, IN 46012). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
