We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2025, at the age of 76, William Alford Wynne of Henderson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William Alford departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William Alford may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William Alford leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Parham Wynne and George Washington Wynne; and his siblings, Lois Coley, Margaret Lassiter and Charlie Wynne.
He is survived by: his significant other Harold "Skeeter" Congdon; and his sisters, June Adcock (Howard) of Henderson and Peggy Henson of Crossnore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
