She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee Wilson and Maggie Paschall Wilson; her husband Eugene Thomas Murphy; her brothers, Raymond "Chuck" Wilson, Marshall E. "Skint" Wilson, Charles L. "Rue" Wilson and William Lee Wilson, Jr.; her sister-in-law Millie Wilson; and her daughter-in-law Linda Lilley Murphy.
She is survived by: her son Eugene Thomas "E. T." Murphy, Jr. of Knightdale; and her siblings, Hazel Wilson Hamm of Oxford, Dot Wilson Knight of Raleigh and Mac Wilson (Judy) of Kittrell.
