She was predeceased by: her father Gary Goodwin Abbott; and her sister Cathy Dawn Abbott (Gregory Scott Currin). She is survived by: her mother Catherine Riggan Abbott; and her pets, Mookie, Drake, Bella and Riley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Sunset Gardens (3174 Highway 158 Business, Henderson, NC 27536).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Henderson Baptist Church, 1211 N. Garnett Street Henderson, N.C. 27536 or to the Vance County Animal Shelter, 1243 Brodie Road, Henderson, N.C. 27537.
