With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Owens Crudup (Henderson, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Foster and Orlander Chavis. She is survived by: her children, Johnetta, Regeanna, Sharon, Loretta, Gail, Karen, Mattie, Toni, Frederick, Duante, Allen, Ramone, Larry, Gwendolyn, Deborah and Rose; and her brothers, William Mitchell and Samuel Perry. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, 12 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Davis-Royster Funeral Service, Inc. (926 S Garnett St, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greater Refuge Church (1450 Americal Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
