She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Small Waters and Julian Owen Waters; and her siblings, Mary Eliza Jones, Ethel Mae Ipock, Edna Earl Wright, Nettie Finch, Anita Taylor, Julian Owen "J. O." Waters, Jr., John Benjamin "Nig" Waters, James Richard "Blue" Waters, Larry Joseph "Jo" Waters, Glenwood Waters and Danny Waters.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Massey; her son Shane Massey (Jodi) of Oxford; her granddaughter Calli Wolfe (Alex); and her siblings, William "Bill" Waters (Susie) and Carol Jean Waters Hughes (Millard).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536).
