With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Taylor Durham (Henderson, North Carolina), who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Rebecca Taylor may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou Taylor and Booker T. Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Dirthere Watson, Gloria Johnson, Glennie Durham, Larry Durham and Richard Durham; and her sister Bessie Henderson. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Davis-Royster Funeral Service, Inc. (926 S Garnett St, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Men Church.
