He was predeceased by: his parents, John Littleton Parks Sr. and Lalla Blanks Parks; his son John Littleton Parks III; his sisters, Ann Parks Nesbitt and Frances Pauline "Polly" Parks; and his close friend Paul Daeke.
He is survived by: his close friend Billy Watkins; his siblings-in-law, Fayma Roberts and R. O. Woodlief (Agnes); and his caregiver Bobbie Stegall.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery (918 Breckenridge St, Henderson, NC 27536). A reception was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
