She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Travis and Thelma Capps Travis; her spouse Jerry Rogers Parrish Sr.; and her brother Brent Michaels. She is survived by: her children, Andrea P. McDaniel (Timmy), Jerry R. Parrish Jr. (Debbie) and Donnie W. Parrish (Cynthia); her siblings, Frances Buchanan (Larry), Judy Norwood (Steve) and Arthur Travis (Peggy); her grandchildren, Michelle Beckwith (David), Brandon Newhouse (Heather), Taylor Allison (Josh), Dylan McDaniel and Hannah Parrish; and her great grandchildren, Lillien, Eli, Maddie, Melody, Cleo, Bailee and Jason.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A burial was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at the Travis Family Cemetery (3870 Dabney Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
