James Glenn Boyd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Glenn Boyd of Henderson, North Carolina, born in Meridian, Texas, who passed away on September 18, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis W. Boyd and Lorene Goodman Boyd; his brothers, Allen W. Boyd of Texas and Travis D. Boyd of White Level, NC.; his in-laws, Brooks and George N. Tucker, Jr.; and his brother-in-law George Norman Tucker III (Gail).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Brooks Tucker Boyd; his daughter Cassidy Michelle Tucker of Charlotte; his sister Linda Boyd Trammell (Stanley) of Texas; his sister-in-law Norma Best Boyd of White Level; and his friend Ken Fuller (Becky).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Glenn's memory to CPOH, PO Box 1791, Henderson, NC 27536 for operational expenses at their new shelter now known as City Road Center of Hope in the former City Road United Methodist Church facility.
