He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. Sanford and Maude Faucette Sanford; and his siblings, Betty Lou Pegram, Albert Gene Sanford, Marshall Sanford and Richard Sanford.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Sanford (Raven) of Henderson; his grandchildren, Bailee Sanford, Colton Sanford and Chance Sanford; and his siblings, Nell Rose Clark of Henderson, Sylvia Arnold of Henderson, Carolyn Denton of Zebulon and Gilbert Sanford of Jacksonville.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536).
