With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Thomas Gill of Henderson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hunter Gill and Bessie Wortham Gill; and his brother Robert Curtis Gill. He is survived by: his sons, Ashley Fred Gill (Kristi), Timothy Wayne Shearin and James Alton Shearin (Michele); his grandchildren, Timothy Wayne Shearin Jr., Taylor Shearin Griles (Alex), Kaleigh Yvonne Shearin, Gracie Gill and MacKenzie Gill; his great grandchildren, Maddox Griles, Sutton Griles, Kami Shearin and Aria Zehr; and his brothers, Charles Hunter Gill (Sally) and John Richard Gill (Linda).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cokesbury Methodist Church (2440 S Cokesbury Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
