She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Adam Hyder and Eve Arminta McCraw Hyder (Minty); her siblings, David, Daniel, Jesse, Allard, Emory, Hubert Hyder, Vinnie Lee Huggins (Nellie), Mary Ann Elizabeth Stepp, Kaye Francis Blackwell and Eloise Marranco; her great grandchildren, Samuel Chase and Jackie Chandler Praytor; and her grandmother Angel.
She is survived by: her children, Carroll Leon Rhodes (Diana) of Flat Rock, Samuel Hubert Rhodes of Flat Rock and Patsy Ethel Rhodes of Saluda, SC.; her grandchildren, Mandy Justus (Scott) and Justin Rhodes; her great grandchildren, Blake Smith, Miranda Wilson, Kayleigh Benfield and Riley Rhodes; her great great grandchildren, Major Melton, Maxxon Melton and Chaseleigh Benfield; and her granddaughter Shanda Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
