He was predeceased by: his parents, George Franklin Taylor and Tessie Jackson Taylor; and his brother George Franklin Taylor, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Faye White Taylor; his son Gregory Winfield Taylor; his daughter-in-law Kathy Rogers Taylor of Henderson; his daughter Patricia Taylor Hanley of Raleigh; his grandsons, Jackson Grant Hanley (Hannah Louise Griggs) of Georgia and Samuel Taylor Hanley of Concord; his nephews, David Franklin Taylor and Christopher Douglas Taylor; and his niece Merri Taylor Martinez.
