She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson Tharrington and Iones Edwards Tharrington; her husband Wade Randolph Kearney; her daughter-in-law Dale Kearney; and her siblings, Lucy Grey Adcock and Thomas Newcomb "Newt" Tharrington.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Cheshire and Randy Kearney of Epsom; her grandchildren, Amanda Moore (Matthew), Matt Kearney (Samantha) and Sutter Cheshire; and her great grandchildren, Jovie Moore and Koa Moore.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (1238 New Bethel Church Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 3:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church, 1238 New Bethel Baptist Church Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
