She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Clifton J Capps Sr., Alleine Tingen Capps and Millard "Tommy" Abbott Sr.. She is survived by: her parents, Millard Thomas "M. T." Abbott Jr. (Marsha) and Vicky Lynn Capps Stokes; her husband Ricky Hedgepeth; her children, Meah Jayde Hedgepeth, Noah Abbott Hedgepeth (Caitlin) and Konnor Brooks Hedgepeth; her stepson Ben Perkinson (Alisha); her stepgrandchildren, Benjamin Blair Perkinson Jr., Gracie Nicole Perkinson and Aliah Marie Perkinson; her brothers, DJ Stokes (Erica), Thomas Abbott (Morgan) and Jordan Abbott (Maddie); her grandmother Jean Abbott; and her mother-in-law Marie Dement. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536).
