He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Jude Fisher and Joan Morgan; and his sister Patricia Jones. He is survived by: his wife LuRae Grissom Fisher; his children, Amanda Green (Andrew) and Matthew Paynter; his grandchildren, Bryan Green, Alexa Green, Alayna Green, Kensly Green, Natalie Green, Camden Paynter, Skylar Paynter and Colton Paynter; his siblings, Teresa Evans (Doug), Mike Adcock (Melinda), Kenny Adcock (Michelle) and Jason Adcock; and his pet Copper. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Anthony's Home (179 Friendly Ln, Henderson, NC 27537).
