With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Bridges Edwards (Henderson, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Bridgers Bridges and Robert Eulon Bridges; her husband Bobby June Edwards; her daughter Angelia Edwards; and her brother Jimmie Bridges.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Beckham (Andrew) of Henderson and Craig Edwards (Carol) of Henderson; her grandchildren, Lauren Edwards, Lindsey Collier (Daniel), Melissa Marshburn (Michael) and Kenneth Collins Jr. (Kelli); her great grandchildren, Bryson Collier, Dylan Marshburn (Anna Macon), Hayley Montgomery (Jabe), Trevor Collins, Trista Collins and Kaelynn Collins; her great great grandchildren, Powell Marshburn and Perry Marshburn; and her friends, Andrew, Deborah Beckham, Craig and Carol Edwards.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bridges Family Cemetery (440 Gillburg Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
