She is survived by: her daughter Susie Byrd (Ray) of Hays; her grandchildren, Roxanne Hawkins (Tim) of Ellenboro and Michael Byrd (Julie) of Wilkesboro; and her sister-in-law Alma Johnson of Hays. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
